This place is out of control. 40 dollars for a pizza? We called for delivery after a long day of moving from 5 states away. My jaw hit the floor when they told me is was going to be $40 for a 12 inch pizza. Ingredients for a pizza cost no more than $10...even if it is premium and gluten-free. I can't believe people actually pay that. If I could do zero stars I would. This placr is criminal.

Always great, fast and friendly! Tonight I accidentally over payed the driver. He called to tell me because he has a conscience! Always happy with their service!

I ordered chicken Alfredo pasta. They gave me chicken Alfredo pizza. We called and they said they don't have pasta, but on the box we got says pasta. Super upset and hungry.

Ordered my usual "The Favorite" with butter-garlic-Parmesan crust...absolutely delicious as usual. Also tried the ham and cheese sub...also delicious. The bread was moist and chewy, good flavor. I added my own extra mustard to set it off. This is some of the best pizza in EL.

So overpriced and the pizza is nothing special. The specialty pizzas are good about the same as dominos just pricier. The coolest part about this place is heart shaped pizza on valentines day.

Love it! Great tasting cheese bread and amazing deep dish! Best tasting as far as chains go!

The definition of mediocrity. The delivery time is fast, but the pizza's nothing special. The cheese is cheap, the crust is undercooked, and, the worst offender, the sauce has the acidic taste of cafeteria-grade marinara. I'm surprised this place gets the praise it does.

Don't come here if its late at night, as the staff will be very cranky from dealing with drunk people. They also will not make the pizza you want, and only want to give you pepperoni or cheese.

i don't know if _all_ the delivery drivers are assholes, but this one sure was. we had ordered online and specified on the "special directions" field of the online order to "please call first, large house where people wouldn't know who i am", and gave the number. the driver came to the house first before calling, and then complained about the 10% tip (which i consider generous, considering how close a drive it was!!). the pizza was wonderful, though. great pizza!!

My boyfriend and I got a hotel in East Lansing for the night after coming home from a wedding for an entire weekend. We needed a day to relax and come down from the weekend's events. We went somewhat all out on the hotel and hoped to have just a pizza and beer relaxation weekend. We decided to order Cottage Inn pizza for a few reasons. 1) It delivered all the way out to the hotel we were staying at at Jolly and Okemos 2) I have the Delta Dining SkyMiles thingy and we get points for eating from there. We put in an order for a plain cheese flat-bread pizza and bread sticks. They said the wait was a half an hour. Okay, fair enough. We got the pizza in almost exactly a half an hour so kudos to them. We know they have those bags to keep the pizza warm in so we were okay with it. At least, we thought they kept the pizza warm. When we bit into our slices immediately upon putting them on the table in the room we were disgusted. The pizza was barely luke warm. The pizza was awful! We decided to try the bread sticks. They were not only cold, but had virtually no flavor just like the pizza. We were so disappointed. The pizza and bread sticks were plain tasting at best. Both were also very dry and unappetizing. We figured either they don't bother to keep the pizzas warm during delivery OR they didn't make either of our items fresh and they had been sitting around for awhile. I would say unless you're being forced against your will to order from this place, don't bother. It was a waste of my $17.00.

Love their Hawaiian Pizza! Though I don't love them as much as Hungry Howie's, but I truly am grateful to have had experienced them in my college days. Conveniently located across the street from campus, it's SO easy to be tempted in grabbing their pizza. They have quick fast service that you won't be disappointed in.

I won't order from here again. Very disappointed with the quality of the pizza. They get two stars for fast delivery.

The pizza is terrific. If you want sides I'd recommend the cheesy bread (it comes with garlic/butter dipping sauce and marinara as well. They have gourmet toppings so it's pricier than most for a pizza joint. I had fresh tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, and feta cheese on my pizza. I'm from out of town (cali), visiting my cousin who went to school here and was pretty impressed. Need a pizza fix? Try it.

I have never been disappointed, truly cannot order bad food from this location and delivery is never later than what you are told, even the online ordering is dummy proof.

OK Cottage Inn you totally redeemed yourself. 2:40AM just walked blocks in the rain, starving, also mad, but that's another story. Called Cottage Inn- even though they close at 3 they still took my order and I had it w/in 20 minutes. Tastilicious.

10 minutes before closing and they still took our order. That's what won me over. My coworker didn't wanna call because he's a delivery guy and he knew how angry they would be if we called so close to closing, but we were staaaaarving. Had to call. And they were nice enough to take our order! The first night I got the oven roasted chicken wings with the garlic cream cheese dip and my coworkers got pulled pork subs. We loved them. The wings were so juicy and flavourful and they didn't even need the dip, but I did dip. It was soooo good. That feeling when you bite into a wing and the juices run down your arm. Mmmmmm~ We ordered again the next night and I got the same thing. Coworker ordered the lasagna and he was digging it. He said it wasn't Stouffer's, but it was good enough. The delivery guys were super nice. All smiles and "you're welcome" "thank you"... All that good stuff. I wish we had another night there. I would have ordered again.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the pizza and wings from here! I ordered two mediums of the spicy Polynesian lite pizza and the Alfredo philly steak pizza. Both of these pizzas were AMAZING. Not only was the pizza great, but the wings were also crazy good. *GET THE GARLIC CREAM CHEESE. ITS GREAT TO DIP YOUR CRUST WITH!!

Super fast delivery! This is my favorite pizza, and since I've moved away, I miss it so much. Pepperoni and feta is my favorite!

Very friendly. Excepts Sacajawea Coins. Excellent flame on food. 32 piece party pizza is perfect price and size for a party of 4. Also butter sauce pairs well with garlic bread. Party platter box is very large so you have to break it up to put it in the trash. Overall great experience.

YOU ARE ALL DIRTY WHORES. I had ordered a pizza at 5:00pm prior to the Super Bowl. It should have taken an hour give or take for delivery at most. After an hour and a half, I called Cottage Inn wondering where the pizza was and they claimed to not have ever received my order after I had received a confirmation e-mail. After some bickering with an employee, I re-ordered my previous order at 6:30pm along with a discounted second pizza. When my order did arrive at 8:00pm, there was no discounted pizza, and I was then asked to pay again in cash for what was already charged on my credit card. Long story short, we will never use Cottage Inn again because this is not the first time something like this has happened.

Delicious pizza, cheese bread, and traditional wings. Great prices too. Their pizza lunch special is a good deal, with a 3-topping personal pizza and pop. It's enough to fill me up, and I'm a decent sized guy. I also like getting their bone-in oven roasted wings w/ bbq sauce, and then adding an order of cheese bread and pop (which they usually have a special for). Their other wings I don't care for; but the traditional bone-in are meaty and flavorful.

Quick Delivery, but forgot the flavored crust I ordered and very pricey.

Delivery was quick and friendly! Our gourmet Hawaiian pizza (ham, bacon, and pineapple) arrived 15 minutes sooner than it was supposed to. The pizza itself has my preferred ratio of cheese, sauce, and crust--the cheese is just enough to cover the pie. The price is a bit high (they add a $2 delivery charge), but I'm willing to pay it for the convenience of not having to drive myself in the cold. Overall, a great first experience.

Normally I would classify Cottage Inn as "too expensive for the average college kid." And it usually is, especially with many cheaper food/pizza options nearby. However, every so often I was willing to make an exception and spend a little extra money because the pizza here was always great. I LOVE their deep dish pizzas, and chicken is an excellent topping here. Be sure to check those little coupon books that SBS gives out -- sometimes there are some good Cottage Inn coupons. Also, MSU sends out email surveys occasionally and the prizes include a $5 pizza from Cottage Inn.

This may have been my favorite pizza while at Michigan State. I think the true testament is that I would eat and enjoy this pizza while both drunk and sober... although probably more sober because you gotta order a whole pie and if you're drunk and just looking for a slice, Georgio's is probably a better bet. Cottage Inn is a little less greasy and ingredients seem a little more fresh than your average college pizza joint. My favorite was feta and tomato. Garlic butter crust is an absolute must.
